Partnerships
Modern Music Journal considers collaborations that fit its focus on music listening, musical ideas and informed curiosity. All commercial relationships must be clear to readers.
Relevant collaborations
We are open to considering educational, cultural, audio and music-related collaborations where the subject genuinely suits our readers. A proposal should explain the idea, intended audience, proposed format and any commercial relationship involved.
Partner placements
Relevant partner links or placements may appear in designated areas of the site. Their presence does not imply editorial endorsement, and they are identified clearly so readers can distinguish them from independent coverage.
Editorial separation
Partners cannot buy a favourable editorial conclusion or control independent coverage. Any paid or otherwise supported content is labelled as partner or sponsored material, and commercial arrangements do not change our correction standards.
Start a conversation
Use the Contact page and choose the partnership option. Include enough detail for us to assess relevance and fit; a proposal is an invitation to discuss, not a promise of publication or placement.
Listening is a way of noticing
A little attention can open up a whole piece of music. We make room for clear explanations, useful comparisons and questions worth carrying into your next listen.
